Latest & Greatest from Little Ol’ Me

More than halfway through 2017. Absolutely nothing has gone as planned…and I am truly the happiest I’ve ever been. There’s a saying that says, “everything happens for a reason” and quite frankly, I’ve been finding purpose behind every challenge I’ve face thus far, this year.

I took a short break from blogging, not because I wanted to (I love writing, sharing awesome experiences in cute outfits I mean, common…what girl doesn’t) but because I have been focused on much bigger goals for myself and my future that I can’t share just yet – but will very shortly love to!

One positive thing I will share is an amazing opportunity that was presented to me by Naples Daily News (our Naples local newspaper) and USA Today. On MONDAY August 28th, I will be sharing all that can be done in Naples, FL with only $100. This is going to be great exposure for me, and I am truly honored and beyond thankful that I was selected for such a great project.

On the other hand, now that summer is coming to an end, I wanted to share the last blog post I was SUPPOSED to be sharing until my life really got hectic. I haven’t even shared any of my Mexico trip details, I was there for nearly 2 weeks!

This was shot in one of my favorite places in Miami, The Design District. Fashion is art, so I was happy to hear all of the great feedback when I was walking around to take photos. I’m glad other people notice I have an eye for things! I paired this funky, back & white Victoria Beckham skirt with a bikini top.

Trust me, you would have been in a bathing suit it was SO hot! This is a typical Miami pool party ootd. Gals usually like to add some style even though they will be poolside, which I love! The whole shabang, hair, make-up & heels.

I have so much more to share! Please follow me on Instagram to be up to date with the latest and greatest going on in my little world! God bless you all ❤

Cute Christmas Sweaters

Christmas time is for work holiday parties, pajamas on Christmas morning and ugly sweater parties. We held our 2nd annual ugly Christmas dewater/white elephant party and it was a blast! However, incase you didn’t know…its okay to wear something cute rather than ugly.

This cute little penguin sweater was found at Forever 21 ($25) and is definitely made to keep you warm. Living in the Sunshine State means this sweater was not meant to be kept on all night which is exactly what happened. I paired it with rose gold striped jeans from Neiman Marcus at 80% off and some metallic chunky heels from H&M ($35)

I wanted to share a bit of our night with you – this DIY “backdrop” was made from wrapping paper! Although I should have been a bit more considerate to acknowledge there would be more than one person positioned in front of it as well as the fact there are many out there way taller than I…next time, next time.

My friends and family had the greatest time with the white elephant exchange, dancing (suavemente style), having “Photo Booth” fun, eating good and enjoy a nice old glass of wine, beer, rosé and champagne…or two 🙂 Check out my crew!

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and continue to be festive while you can!

FEARLESS

fullsizerender-5
Today, whether you’re at work in your office, sitting through a lecture in college, or just lounging at home and not being sure what the heck you are doing with your life…I invite and encourage you to take action.
Its easy to get discouraged when things are not going as planned. I find myself asking questions such as,”If only I was making the amount of money I’d like to be making, or doing what actually makes me happy, I can’t wait until I graduate and have my degree or even, I can’t wait until I’m happily married.” I am learning that this is not the best mindset to have, but rather have goals as such as our vision. For every setback, there is an even bigger and better comeback – always remember that. Be that person who is fearless and does not stop to continuously seek improvement and growth for yourself. Career-wise, physically, spiritually and mentally.
Whatever you are working towards, do not stop. If at first you fail, that shows attempt. Attempt = Action. Which means you are just knocking out ways that don’t work until you find what does. It is that simple.
Most importantly, in the midst of the storm don’t forget to dance in the rain.
Proverbs 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
