Sneakers and dresses are my absolute FAVORITE ootd. Don’t get me wrong, I love to dress up in heels and get all dolled up…or on the other hand, I could completely bum it out and be in slides and sweatpants

But when it comes to dresses and sneakers? UGH! It’s truly the best of both worlds. Not too girly, no too tomboy – just the perfect mix. I could wear this on date night, a day out or if I’m traveling! It’s the ultimate comfort-chic!

These sneakers were bought in Mexico, I’ve never seen anything like them which is why I love them! This dress was bought at Papaya 🙂

Latest & Greatest from Little Ol’ Me

More than halfway through 2017. Absolutely nothing has gone as planned…and I am truly the happiest I’ve ever been. There’s a saying that says, “everything happens for a reason” and quite frankly, I’ve been finding purpose behind every challenge I’ve face thus far, this year.

I took a short break from blogging, not because I wanted to (I love writing, sharing awesome experiences in cute outfits I mean, common…what girl doesn’t) but because I have been focused on much bigger goals for myself and my future that I can’t share just yet – but will very shortly love to!

One positive thing I will share is an amazing opportunity that was presented to me by Naples Daily News (our Naples local newspaper) and USA Today. On MONDAY August 28th, I will be sharing all that can be done in Naples, FL with only $100. This is going to be great exposure for me, and I am truly honored and beyond thankful that I was selected for such a great project.

On the other hand, now that summer is coming to an end, I wanted to share the last blog post I was SUPPOSED to be sharing until my life really got hectic. I haven’t even shared any of my Mexico trip details, I was there for nearly 2 weeks!

This was shot in one of my favorite places in Miami, The Design District. Fashion is art, so I was happy to hear all of the great feedback when I was walking around to take photos. I’m glad other people notice I have an eye for things! I paired this funky, back & white Victoria Beckham skirt with a bikini top.

Trust me, you would have been in a bathing suit it was SO hot! This is a typical Miami pool party ootd. Gals usually like to add some style even though they will be poolside, which I love! The whole shabang, hair, make-up & heels.

I have so much more to share! Please follow me on Instagram to be up to date with the latest and greatest going on in my little world! God bless you all ❤

3 Art Walls in Wynwood to Visit this Summer in Miami, FL!

3 New Art Walls in Wynwood Art District:

Coming from a Native Floridian who lives on the west coast of the state in Naples, I travel to Miami a little too often. (As one should!) Miami is mainly known for South Beach, which is nice if you’re looking for more of a tropical atmosphere. But the GEM many haven’t discovered in Miami is the Wynwood Art District.

It’s probably the closest hipster area to Austin filled with modern art galleries, art murals, the dopest coffee shops, boutiques and so much nightlife! If you’re looking for some GREAT-Instagrammable content…you may want to keep reading because I’ve put the exact location of where you can find 3 new art walls in Wynwood along with details of my OOTD which might come in handy with our weather!

BTW, are you following me on Instagram yet? If not, follow me here! 🤗

This wall literally looks like a cauliflower-flower tattoo drawn on a huge chalkboard, doesn’t it? I was obsessed as soon as I laid my eyes on it. The coolest thing about Wynwood is you’ll see art like this in every corner. Like this one, located at the corner of NW 24th st and NW 2nd ave at the Shinola store. Trust me, I wasn’t the only one taking photos at this time, its always packed!

This wall is perfect for a bright and colorful outfit, like mine! Located at the corner of NW 23rd st and NW 1st pl…this street offers some of the dopest hot spots like El Patio (nightlife) and a delicious lunch spot called the Butter shop.

So, for anyone who is interested in something other than travel and being a foodie…I have some ootd tips when being in Wynwood!

  1. Wear comfortable shoes. I’ve been such a sneaker head lately- obsessed with these Cole Haan shoes that can be worn anywhere, anytime.
  2. Cotton or Linen. All the way, all day. Unless you want to be drenched in sweat. I’m not even kidding, the humidity here is insane! Thats why I wore a over-sized cotton shirt to keep me as cool as possible.
  3. Pack light. If you are traveling, please leave all suitcases and large backpacks in your car. Wynwood is an all-day walking around type of place 🙂 A small cross-body is all you need.
  4. Why am I accessorizing with a windbreaker? Well, if you’re from Florida…you’re cold ALL.THE.TIME. Especially in the A.C. And Wynwood is known to blast their A.C. It was lightweight so perfect for coffee shops or restaurants.

I’ve been more on the sporty side lately. I love the on-the-go feeling. Especially when traveling, you’ll always catch me looking a little “edgy.” So even though this outfit might not be considered to be hardcore fashionable, it definitely felt like it.

Last but not least, the pink wall. It’s actually on the same street as the white mural. You cannot go wrong with pink! I hope you enjoyed this travel/fashion post. I would love to know if you found it helpful, if you have any questions please let me know :) I can’t wait to see all of your photos! Don’t forget to tag me on Insta @monicapramos_

Enjoy Wynwood,

Until next time

The Memorial Day OOTD you already have in your closet!

It’s Memorial Day Weekend! And I’ve got a few style tips for you to make a patriotic statement with the pieces every gal has in her closet.

The color Blue has grown immensely on me over the past year. Perhaps its because I’m a lover of the sea and the sky, symbolizing peace and tranquility or simply because of its meaning. Especially for this holiday.

Just a quick tip for those who did not know, the Blue in the American flag stands for vigilance, perseverance or justice. I wanted to be patriotic for this holiday without having to wrap myself in an American flag, and wearing patriotic colors is the perfect alternative.

I’m sure all of us have denim shorts, (I found these at TJ Maxx). Pair the shorts with a crop top, add a bandana as an accessory and you are SET! Its typically a warmer this time of year anyway so feel free and beautiful to take off some layers!

I will be spending my Memorial Day weekend in Miami and in Orlando with family and friends. Follow me on Instagram, if you aren’t already to tag along on my adventure!

I want to take some time on this post thank all of the the fallen, the Veterans and those in the military for their service. Your commitment does NOT go unnoticed and today and everyday I feel nothing but gratitude for that matter.

Every NYE, my boyfriend and I decide to take a spontaneous trip somewhere. Last year, we booked a last minute trip to NYC on New Years Eve. This year, it being December 31st, we still do not have any set plans. That’s just how we roll, we wing it.

Most likely we will drive across to the other coast of Florida to bring in the New Years with friends in Miami, or keep it chill in Naples, FL with our friends at the beach while watching fireworks.

As we come to an end of 2016…there’s a few things I’d like to firstly say. Like how this blog has somewhat made me feel more complete. It’s the little piece of my everyday duties that is solely and entirely MINE. I have always loved fashion, fitness and traveling and I am so proud that I finally just DID it. My only regret is not starting it sooner!

I started my blog this Summer in July and I can assure you it has not always been easy, it has been very discouraging at times because I am constantly looking for new content, new opportunities and knocking on doors to see if one will open. My end goal is to monetize my blog and take it as far as possible, it can and it will. Just need to remind myself to not give up,  be patient, keep pushing and if one door does not open a better one will. That’s how much faith I have in myself, in my work and my passion.

I have GREAT things coming in 2017…things I cannot share at this time but will shortly be unraveled to you all. And for that I am whole heartedly grateful and humbled.

And now, a little recap of my first year blogging and favorite posts I put together just for you. I wish you a happy and prosperous New Year!

How to Host a Brunch Party at Home

A good brunch consists of a balance of savory and sweet foods and great beverages.  Add in some simple decorations for a little ambiance.  You don’t have to go overboard to throw a great party.

I think the biggest difference that made this little brunch come to life were the variety of serving trays we had. We purchased this two tier serving tray and cake plate at World Market followed by the slate tray on the bar at Marshalls.

We had everything from:

  • Avocado Toast
  • Ham & Cheese Sliders
  • Bruschetta
  • Mini Frittata’s
  • French Toast
  • Mini Pancakes
  • Mini Greek yogurt parfaits
  • Pumpkin Donuts
  • Brussel Salad
  • Hashbrowns
  • and more!

Mini Greek yogurt parfaits with honey and fruit.

Don’t forget to be vegan friendly! My girlfriend Bri who is also a vegan blogger baked the most delicious breakfast cups and banana flax muffins.

What about the drinks?  I always think champagne or mimosas for brunch! My girlfriend Brit brought white sparking wine, orange juice, cranberry juice garnished with rosemary and cranberries! It was a the prettiest little holiday drink.

Another fun option is to set up a self serve bar of some sort!  I’ve been to parties where they have self serve potato bars or waffle bars.  It’s another wonderful idea and kind of helps cater to your entire crowd.

Bite size anything is the current trend!  People like miniaturized finger foods.  They look cute and provide a small individual serving size.  Plus they are easy to store if there are leftovers!

Colors of Fall

Everyone’s favorite time of the year is here – Fall! At least, it is for women…and we all know why. The fashion, duh! Orange is the PERFECT fall color.

This gorgeous pumpkin-orange dress is from Bebe Outlets ($30) which can only be purchased at Miromar Outlets in the SWFL area. I was initially drawn by the color, then captivated by the light-weight fabric, perfect to be worn outdoors.

Regardless of places like Florida, where it is paradise 365 days a year – we still like to participate in seasonal trends and colors. We don’t have leaves falling and transitioning into the beautiful autumn colors we all adore and are admittedly jealous of (because they’d be awesome for photos) or the necessity to start wearing oversized sweaters, just yet. What we do have, however, are the most breathtaking sunsets year round and a wardrobe to go along with it.

I wore this dress to an event I attended called #CravingFashion held at Waterside Shops in Naples, FL to benefit United Way of Collier County and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. When you mix fashion and helping the community for a great cause, its always a win-win. Such a great event, with great food too!

As always – peace, love & blessings.

Sunday Morning

Sunday’s are for messy buns and getting stuff done – but more importantly, to be grateful for all we have been blessed with. One of the biggest problems people, including millennials like myself face is only seeing what we don’t have and being unappreciative what we do. Don’t go there! Positive thoughts = positive life.

On this day – reflect, refuel your soul and  remember to be grateful for your blessings. A lot of people have it a lot worse than you, and you have it so much better than others. Always keep that in mind.

So, set your mind with a positive outlook for this new week – here’s how.

Sunday to-do list:

  1. Count your blessings.
  2. Practice Kindness.
  3. Let go of what you cant control.
  4. Be present with loved ones.
  5. Believe in your future self.

Make some goals, organize your goals and STAY focused. A Sunday well spent brings a week of content.  Make it count!

Labor Day Weekend in NYC

NYC – The City of Dreams and my absolute favorite place on earth thus far. I went during Labor Day Weekend for a wedding and had the grandest time. This was quite an action packed weekend, I’m surprised how much we got done in SUCH little time.

I hope you enjoyed these pictures! I’ve been to NYC about 5 times, but I’ve never seen the NYC skyline from Jersey…absolutely stunning! I attended my first Indian wedding which will be unforgettable – not a detail went unnoticed. Here’s what I did summed up:

  1. Grand Central Terminal
  2. Charging Bull on Wall Street
  3. Wallstreet
  4. Central Park
  5. Belvedere’s Castle in Central Park
  6. The Met
  7. Cruised around LIC
  8. Cruised around Jersey City
  9. Ground Zero
  10. Battery Park
  11. Chelsea Market
  12. The High Line
  13. Soho
  14. Brooklyn
  15. And, Chorizo at Chipotle!

Truly an unforgettable weekend. I love NY, and the people of NY. Always moving at 100 mph and never stopping. I think that’s why I love this city so much. It was very hard to post everything, so next time I go somewhere make sure to follow me on IG: monicapramos_ Questions about what I wore! Ask in the comment section below!

Hope you enjoyed this travel post, everyone!

Back To School Lookbook

IMG_2053It’s that time of the year again! I decided to put my first lookbook together in honor of back to school. I’m very excited to share this with you! All of these looks express my personal style of how I would go to school, depending on my mood of course.

I present: The TomboyThe Girly Girl, the bohemian, and The Girl Next Door look.

Whenever you’re in a sporty mood, kicks are where you want to start with putting your outfit together. The red camo Nikes gave my tomboy look an edgy feel ($50). I wore a black F21 turtleneck crop top ($15) and paired it with these H&M olive pants ($20). I added a F21 jean jacket ($30) and a Herschel backpack ($40). I would wear something like this on a day where I’m not wanting so spend a lot of time on how I look.

I know what you’re thinking…that font reminds me of PLL (Pretty Little Liars) Lol, I promise it was not on purpose. I love me a good ole’ casual dress with a great cut…you know – the kind of dress that makes you feel comfortable yet beautiful. This is an everyday outfit that can be completed by simply adding a statement necklace.

For days when you are wanting to look cute, but not feeling like putting much effort into (which is how I feel almost EVERY day) – go with an oversized shirt. Works WONDERS. I’m aware classrooms are almost always cold – hence the scarf. If I could describe this look in one word…effortless.

The one girl who everyone admires for her modesty. I wore my favorite smoky black jeans from Zara ($40) a scarlet colored casual tank, an olive army jacket and some tan wedges. This is also appropriate for a casual college night out, or even Sunday brunch.

I can relate my personality to each of these different looks, as I’m sure you can too! Working full time and going to school part-time can be a struggle, so I 100% understand how spending hours on getting ready might not be a priority.  I hope these looks were helpful to put something quick and cute together! If you’re in school whether its middle school, high school, or college I wish you a great semester. Just don’t focus too much on getting an A+ on your style…get them grade A’s in formation!

Stay Tuned for my Labor Day Weekend Outfit post next! And also, my NYC lookbook! I’ll be traveling to the big apple tomorrow so be sure to follow me on the gram, snap, etc.

Thank you for reading. Until next time…peace love & blessings.
