Kim Kardashian West Inspired Look: A Business Casual OOTD

Many women in the workplace nowadays have not explored the freedom they have to make statements with simply, their attire. So I wanted to share this $40 look with you!

This outfit is probably one of my favorites I’ve ever put together. It’s elegant, modest, stylish AND its professional, depending on what you do. I, for example, run my own business which requires me to attend events where I need to dress up. I never question nor think twice whether I should wear something too “out there.” I just wear it.

Why you may ask? Well first, I will always and forever love fashion. I will always stay true to myself and never change my look for an occasion because of what others will think. I feel that’s what makes one different!

I wore this open-silk skirt from Forever 21 ($20) for an all-day event I did with my local newspaper and USA Today. I wanted to look professional, yet chic…so I paired it with a white long sleeved shirt with minimal details, the ruffles on the shoulders ($20).

I encourage you to be bold, make a statement and most importantly, be you! I will be dedicating a full blog post to my day with the media so please stay tuned! Follow me on Instagram: @monicapramos_

Latest & Greatest from Little Ol’ Me

More than halfway through 2017. Absolutely nothing has gone as planned…and I am truly the happiest I’ve ever been. There’s a saying that says, “everything happens for a reason” and quite frankly, I’ve been finding purpose behind every challenge I’ve face thus far, this year.

I took a short break from blogging, not because I wanted to (I love writing, sharing awesome experiences in cute outfits I mean, common…what girl doesn’t) but because I have been focused on much bigger goals for myself and my future that I can’t share just yet – but will very shortly love to!

One positive thing I will share is an amazing opportunity that was presented to me by Naples Daily News (our Naples local newspaper) and USA Today. On MONDAY August 28th, I will be sharing all that can be done in Naples, FL with only $100. This is going to be great exposure for me, and I am truly honored and beyond thankful that I was selected for such a great project.

On the other hand, now that summer is coming to an end, I wanted to share the last blog post I was SUPPOSED to be sharing until my life really got hectic. I haven’t even shared any of my Mexico trip details, I was there for nearly 2 weeks!

This was shot in one of my favorite places in Miami, The Design District. Fashion is art, so I was happy to hear all of the great feedback when I was walking around to take photos. I’m glad other people notice I have an eye for things! I paired this funky, back & white Victoria Beckham skirt with a bikini top.

Trust me, you would have been in a bathing suit it was SO hot! This is a typical Miami pool party ootd. Gals usually like to add some style even though they will be poolside, which I love! The whole shabang, hair, make-up & heels.

I have so much more to share! Please follow me on Instagram to be up to date with the latest and greatest going on in my little world! God bless you all ❤

Tropical State of Mind ☀️

I have two words for you. ZAH-RAH. Zara, that is.

The truth is, I have been waiting MONTHS to share this outfit with you guys! I bought this set in Miami and had even attempted to do my shoot on it 3x. Why that was the case, most definitely the weather. So I decided on shooting in Miami’s Design District to show you some hot spots for shots!

TROPICAL

My favorite thing about Miami is the tropical style, look and feel in my ootd’s. Especially in the summer. That’s why I always stop by Zara to check in on their latest styles. Their prints, cuts and fit is known to look great on everyone.

Miami’s Design District is filled with sleek-modern art from the buildings to the parking garages. As a matter of fact, see this cool background behind me? Its actually a parking garage, one of the dopest, may I add. Its blue on the inside, and GOLD on the outside.

You’d be surprised with the amount of spots you’ll find in the Design District. I can’t wait to go back! Until then,

Peace, love & blessings,

Mo

3 Art Walls in Wynwood to Visit this Summer in Miami, FL!

IT’S SUMMER TIME! ☀️

3 New Art Walls in Wynwood Art District:

Coming from a Native Floridian who lives on the west coast of the state in Naples, I travel to Miami a little too often. (As one should!) Miami is mainly known for South Beach, which is nice if you’re looking for more of a tropical atmosphere. But the GEM many haven’t discovered in Miami is the Wynwood Art District.

It’s probably the closest hipster area to Austin filled with modern art galleries, art murals, the dopest coffee shops, boutiques and so much nightlife! If you’re looking for some GREAT-Instagrammable content…you may want to keep reading because I’ve put the exact location of where you can find 3 new art walls in Wynwood along with details of my OOTD which might come in handy with our weather!

BTW, are you following me on Instagram yet? If not, follow me here! 🤗

This wall literally looks like a cauliflower-flower tattoo drawn on a huge chalkboard, doesn’t it? I was obsessed as soon as I laid my eyes on it. The coolest thing about Wynwood is you’ll see art like this in every corner. Like this one, located at the corner of NW 24th st and NW 2nd ave at the Shinola store. Trust me, I wasn’t the only one taking photos at this time, its always packed!

This wall is perfect for a bright and colorful outfit, like mine! Located at the corner of NW 23rd st and NW 1st pl…this street offers some of the dopest hot spots like El Patio (nightlife) and a delicious lunch spot called the Butter shop.

So, for anyone who is interested in something other than travel and being a foodie…I have some ootd tips when being in Wynwood!

  1. Wear comfortable shoes. I’ve been such a sneaker head lately- obsessed with these Cole Haan shoes that can be worn anywhere, anytime.
  2. Cotton or Linen. All the way, all day. Unless you want to be drenched in sweat. I’m not even kidding, the humidity here is insane! Thats why I wore a over-sized cotton shirt to keep me as cool as possible.
  3. Pack light. If you are traveling, please leave all suitcases and large backpacks in your car. Wynwood is an all-day walking around type of place 🙂 A small cross-body is all you need.
  4. Why am I accessorizing with a windbreaker? Well, if you’re from Florida…you’re cold ALL.THE.TIME. Especially in the A.C. And Wynwood is known to blast their A.C. It was lightweight so perfect for coffee shops or restaurants.

I’ve been more on the sporty side lately. I love the on-the-go feeling. Especially when traveling, you’ll always catch me looking a little “edgy.” So even though this outfit might not be considered to be hardcore fashionable, it definitely felt like it.

Last but not least, the pink wall. It’s actually on the same street as the white mural. You cannot go wrong with pink! I hope you enjoyed this travel/fashion post. I would love to know if you found it helpful, if you have any questions please let me know :) I can’t wait to see all of your photos! Don’t forget to tag me on Insta @monicapramos_

Enjoy Wynwood,

Until next time

Rainy Day Outfit: Tomboy Edition

Incase you haven’t heard, its been raining cats and dogs in Florida lately. Gray and gloomy skies often affect our moods and even our sense of style for the day. I like to take advantage of rainy days in sporty/tomboy-ish attire.

Believe it or not, ever since I was a little girl…my dad always encouraged my sisters and I to play sports, anything from soccer, beach soccer, volleyball and running. I think thats why I (low-key) still enjoy dressing down.

The Tomboy Rainy Day OOTD:

Black leggings are your starting point. Tights or workout pants? No one will ever know. Since I live in Florida, and since we’re days away from “officially” summer, we’re bound to hit some pretty high temperatures. You can find me in a sports bra and a cotton workout shirt. This one in particular was about $15 from Old Navy! They have the CUTEST workout apparel.

I’ve been quite the sneaker head lately. I love the on-the-go state of mind and feeling. I especially hate the feeling of my feet wet in the middle of the day, so its always wise to wear anything but flip-flops. You may also be wondering, if you live in Florida, why are you wearing a jacket? Hello, the rain! 🙂 Be sure to have a jacket with a hoodie. Camo jackets are my absolute fav! They add so much texture to your outfit.

Dressing athletic has always been a preference of mine. I like the empowering feeling of getting things done that it gives me. Rain or shine.

I love knowing that although I’m a girly-girl, I have this other side to me that many people don’t know of. Which I love! If you’re the same, embrace it. Wanna know why? Because it just means we have the best of both worlds embedded IN us! Badass, and sweet.

So thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post and this outfit. If you’re not already following in me on Instagram, follow me here!

Peace, love and light, always.

Summer’s Go-To Trend: Rompers

Happy June! We have OFFICIALLY made it to halfway through the year, guys… The start to every new month gives me the best feeling about pretty much everything except Florida’s heat. That’s why you can find me in cotton made rompers at anytime I’m not at work.

Rompers are my FAVORITE because you can wear it to the beach as a cover-up, on a Saturday afternoon and even at night! Florida plays no games when it comes to heat and humidity which is why I chose this one by Forever 21. Its lightweight, sleeveless and has a striped print that never goes out of style – did I mention, comfortable? Wearing white is also always a good idea during summertime because it helps keeps you cool.

This month for me is a time for lots of planning. I have a few trips this summer/fall and I am very excited to share them with you all, so follow my Instagram @monicapramos_

Talk to you all soon!

White on White Spring Outfit Inspo

Hi there, friend! If this is your first time on my blog, WELCOME! 🙂 I love to write about personal growth, food, travel and of course, fashion.

Today’s look is one of my favorite this spring. You can’t go wrong with white, especially living in Florida, its sort of necessary in order to not melt 🙂 But I’m here to give you some tips and advice on wearing white-on-white. Denim is always in style, white jeans, however, are just DIVINE. Its the prefect day to night piece for spring so make sure to get you a pair!

I purchased both my blouse and jeans at Papaya. I love Papaya so much because the clothes is very inexpensive, the clothes are always trendy and since fashion is always evolving…you won’t feel guilty about donating your inexpensive clothes during your next spring closet cleaning.

Spring Trend Tips: Embroidered roses and cropped fringe jeans are IN this season.

WEEKEND OUTFIT INSPO: SPRING EDITION

Hey y’all!

I was cleaning my closet out the other day and realized I had not done a blog post on my favorite bell bottom jeans I own, so I thought I’d put a weekend outfit together for you as some spring outfit inspo.

Let me start by sharing the amazing deal I got on these jeans…the store, The Limited, was closing down so everything had to go…I ended up getting these jeans that were originally $70 for 13 bucks. #WINNING

I have naturally long legs so I love wearing high waisted pants like this from time to time because it makes me look taller! Thats one benefit you’ll get. Also a pair of jeans like this have a great fit to compliment your body no matter what shape or size and are super comfortable and stretchy.

During springtime, something like this would be perfect to wear on weekends for brunch, a food festival or just to go shopping lol – I added a metallic cami from Zara (mixing different textures really makes a difference and brings your outfit to life) along with adding a few accessories like some sunnies and a bandana! Throw on some wedges and a cross body and you are all set!

This style is a little more casual which I prefer because its easy and takes no time whatsoever to put together. I’m sure anyone including yourself can throw something similar together by something you have in your closet right now.

Thats all she wrote!

On a personal note, I’ll leave you with this I put on one of my Instagram (@monicapramos_) captions the other day as something I definitely need to hear more of lately, hope it encourages you too:

Life is all about pushing oneself to become the best possible version of ourselves. We have our down days, but there’s always more ahead. ALWAYS keep your attention there, make a plan and follow it. Tomorrow is a new day.

Spring Trends: Striped Wrap Dresses

With the Spring months coming up, I wanted to share some upcoming trends for this season. Effortless and chic, this Southwestern-inspired wrap dress is styled with sun-faded stripes and a playful fringe-trimmed hem.

I live in Sunnyland, FL so I feel I’ve played with many different wardrobe changes that can work with Florida’s weather. Like this Didion Strip Wrap Dress by Tularosa ($178) which can be viewed on Shop Style here. If you live up north and are browsing around for some spring pieces, this is the perfect dress for vacationing in warmer weather – perfect for year round warm weather too!

Stay tuned for more posts on outfits similar to this – until next time dolls!

NYFW 2017: Metallics

An AMAZING Fashion week it was! This past weekend, I packed a few bags and traveled to my favorite city in the world thus far NEW YORK CITY for Fashion week.

This ootd was one of my favorites I wore. The first thing you’ll notice about this winter outfit is are the metallics…am I right? I purchased both the rose gold jacket ($40) and silver metallic skirt ($20) on sale at Zara.

I knew I wanted to wear this outfit but I felt it needed a bit more details so I added some fish net stockings and since it was snowing in Manhattan, I added this frayed checked frock coat ($40). Street Style for the win!

Tip: Mixing textures that are have somewhat of a color pallet theme is what creates and completes a street style look.

I wore this outfit to a Shop Style event and had the greatest time with my fellow blogger and friend Jasmine taking shots on a busy NYC street during stop lights.

I still don’t know how I managed to get through the NY winter with this outfit that day – I think I looked great, so felt great and didn’t mind the cold as much!  I hope you liked this post! I encourage you to try something bold like mixing pattens and incorporating metallics into your wardrobe.

I will be posting more on NYFW so stay tuned for more posts!

Until next time!
