Wynwood Street Style

FullSizeRenderIf you’re ever in Miami, FL and want to do something a little less South Beachy, I would suggest visiting Miami’s Art District. The ever so popular Wynwood – specifically speaking. It’s the perfect place to walk around, shop at local boutiques, and eat good. I mean really good. Miami’s Wynwood is similar to New York’s Brooklyn “hipster” scene. Filled with endless streets of art murals and all the modern art you can imagine.

These shots were taken by Jason Madgrial (IG: lovejso) at Wynwood Walls. Featuring artists from around the world, these walls are filled with life-sized murals and urban street graffiti. Due to the fact that it is summer and it being Miami, I decided to go with more of a street style look. My off-the-shoulder flared 100% cotton blouse is from H&M ($12 – currently sold out). I could not be happier to have worn this because it was extremely hot out, I would not have survived if I wasn’t in cotton or linen. The ripped denim shorts are from PacSun, super trendy and perfect for Florida year round ($29). My wedges are from JustFab ($39) and very comfortable to be walking around in for hours. I would say the cherry on top to this outfit was the bandana ($8)! Bandanas are the coolest inexpensive accessory, especially with flared tops. Wynwood is the perfect place to give your wardrobe an edgy feel, so be bold!

Wynwood also has their Art Walk which they do every second Saturday of the month – where they have craft beer, tons of food trucks, art AND live music. Sound like fun? It IS! On top of that, there’s an art walk exhibit called, “The Secret Garden” which is sort of an after party experience that happens during every Art Walk. If you’re into deep house, glow in the dark art galleries, more craft beers and all around good vibes, TSG will take your Wynwood experience to the next level and you’ll love it that much more.

Peace, love & blessings. – Mo
